¿Se imaginan la posibilidad de poder manipular los fenómenos meteorológicos (incluso sísmicos) de tal forma que puedan usarse como armas contra alguna otra nación?
Podría sonar como la idea de una película de ciencia ficción, sin embargo parece que dentro de los misterios que guarda la historia esta el hecho de que tal hipótesis pueda ser posible.
Durante el conflicto de la llamada "guerra fría" entre Rusia y U.S.A el desarrollo de armamento no se limito a solamente cuestiones nucleares y espaciales, sino que al parecer también al hecho de poder manipular el poder de la naturaleza con fines bélicos.
Se sabe que en la actualidad la milicia de los Estados Unidos de Norte América tiene en una zona de Alaska llamada Gakona instalaciones que pertenecen a un proyecto que por sus siglas han denominado H.A.A.R.P (High Frequency Advanced Auroral Research Project). Traducido al español sería, Programa de Investigación de Aurora Activa de Alta Frecuencia.
Las antenas de H.A.A.R.P pueden emitir ondas electromagnéticas a la ionósfera haciendo que ésta suba hacia el espacio y rebote, este rebote, en teoría, puede crear terremotos. H.A.A.R.P transmite 3.6 millones de watts en ondas electromagnéticas de baja frecuencia. Cuenta con 180 antenas de 72 pies de altura que funcionan como una sola y dirigen energía a la ionósfera.
El H.A.A.R.P actuaría como un gran calentador ionosférico, el más potente del mundo. En este sentido podría tratarse de la más sofisticada arma geofísica construida por el hombre.
Algunos antecedentes de este programa son los siguientes:
Project Starfish (1962) Se trataba de realizar experimentos en la ionosfera, alterar las formas y la intensidad de los cinturones de Van Allen, etc..
SPS: Solar Power Satellite Project (1968). Proyecto por el cual se quería generar una constelación de satélites geostacionarios capaz de interceptar la radiación solar y transmitirla en rayos concentrados de microondas a la tierra para su uso posterior.
SPS Military Implications (1978). El proyecto SPS se rehizo para adaptarlo a fines militares. La constelación de satélites podría usar y concentrar la radiación solar para ser usada como un rayo capaz de destruir misiles u objetos enemigos, alterar las comunicaciones que utilizarán la ionosfera como pantalla reflectora.
Se dice que el devastador Terremoto-tsunami de japón fue causado deliberadamente por medio de estas instalaciones, el sismo se da justo 7 años después del 11-M; Japón había sido amenazado previamente con guerra meteorológica sino se ajustaba a condiciones financieras de Estados Unidos.
De ser verdad todo lo anterior (que es bastante posible) nos estaríamos enfrentando al hecho de que una de las principales potencias económicas y militares del planeta, esta literalmente controlando los fenómenos climaticos con fines de represión masiva, ante tal hecho parece que cualquier intento de defensa seria difícil, es importante no darle lugar o progreso a tales "proyectos" de este tipo por la seguridad de la humanidad, los organismos internacionales como la O.N.U deben contribuir en impedirlo.
