Ya he comentado con anterioridad la posible existencia de seres con un conocimiento muy avanzado en áreas complejas como la arquitectura y astronomía que pudieron haber coexistido con el hombre primitivo y compartirle algunos conocimientos científicos importantes que lo llevaron a su actual nivel de progreso.
Sin embargo hay estudiosos del tema que han desarrollado teorías por demás sorprendentes e inquietantes que van todavía mas allá de este concepto, ya que manifiestan que algunas de esas civilizaciones antiguas "super avanzadas" pudieron haberse asentado en nuestro planeta incluso varios millones de años antes de que la tierra siquiera pudiera tener las condiciones favorables para sustentar vida. En todo caso la idea anterior afirma tambien que durante los inicios de este planeta, ya existian seres inteligentes en partes remotas del universo que accidental o deliberadamente se encontraron con nuestro mundo y decidieron colonizarlo, algo que también es inquietante y en cierta forma estremecedor es que tales seres inteligentes pudieron no haber sido físicamente de la forma común con que nos imaginamos hoy en día (pequeños, delgados y de cabeza alargada), sino más bien seres literalmente gigantescos y monstruosos.Uno de los pioneros en teorías acerca de la vida en otros mundos y de misteriosas culturas antiguas, fue el escritor del siglo XIX Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890 - 1937) quien sus escritos afirmaba continuamente sobre la existencia de antiguos seres primigenios que el denomino "los antiguos" seres enormes y horribles de aspectos difícilmente descriptibles algunos de ellos con la facultad de ser muy poderosos e incluso inmortales.
Según Lovecraft los antiguos se remontan a un origen casi simultaneo al del universo, ellos mantenían el control de diversos mundos distribuidos en todo el cosmos entre ellos este, sin embargo estos "antiguos" mantenían entre si una rivalidad constante por el control de todo lo que conocían llevándolos a guerras descomunales que terminaban con la vida de miles de ellos e inclusive los llevo a su extinción.
El escritor divide a estos seres en diferentes grupos según sus facultades y poderes, entre los mas importantes de esa clasificación se encuentra uno llamado CTHULHU que es uno de los "lideres y deidades" principales entre los mismos "antiguos". Según Lovecraft este ser en particular aun existe pero en un estado agonizante y de sueño eterno oculto en alguna parte muy remota y completamente deshabitada de... LA TIERRA.
A estos seres también los distingue su exagerada crueldad e "inmoralidad" hacia cualquier forma de vida ajena a ellos, sin embargo dependen directamente de ese terror que infunden en otras criaturas para mantener su existencia y poder, no es de esperarse que aun siendo criaturas de literatura de terror del siglo XIX existan personas que actualmente les rinden culto mediante un libro llamado EL NECRONOMICOM.
Si bien es cierto que estas entidades son parte de la mente de Lovecratf mencionadas en sus cuentos de terror y misterio, el mismo afirma la existencia de ese libro "maligno" el cual es una recopilación de un árabe llamado Abdul Al Hazred en el siglo VIII acerca de diversos ritos y hechizos paganos de antiguas y oscuras culturas (humanas) el cual estuvo en sus manos y menciona la existencia de estos seres monstruosos, el NECRONOMICON supuestamente contiene la forma de poder "despertar" de su letargo a estos seres y adquirir parte de sus siniestros poderes.Según cuenta el, este libro se divide en 4 capítulos:
1 .- Mensiona a los "promigenios" , sus ejercitos y el poder de su civilización.
2.- Habla sobre el año llamado "muerte" y otro ser llamado Nyarlathotep
3.- Explica su respectiva magia y secretos
4.- Aquí se menciona algo llamado "el libro del destino"
Actualmente existen ediciones de este libro traducido a varios idiomas e inclusive películas dedicadas a el (Army of Darkness con Bruce Cambell) Pero aun cuando puede parecer un simple libro de terror y ciencia ficción, varios expertos del tema paranormal sugieren (o recomiendan) que sea leído solamente por aquellos que ya se han iniciado en esta ciencia con tiempo de preparación física y emocional, se cree que puede (de hecho lo hace) enajenar la mente del lector en especial de los que son fácilmente sugestionables.
Mi recomendación personal es hacer lo posible por no estar en contacto con este tipo de literatura, de hecho los mismos cuentos de Lovecratf como si fuera a modo de advertencia, mencionan sobre una serie de accidentes misteriosos hacia aquellos que estuvieron en contacto con el escritor y sus textos.
Lo que finalmente expone este escritor en base a ese libro "maligno" es la existencia de seres malévolos y despiadados extintos u ocultos de la presencia humana debido a la perdida de sus poderes, esperando el día en que hagan renacer su civilización y volver a controlar sus múltiples mundos... entre ellos este.
